User admin error

Post by Moozie »

There is a new error:

In admin - user administration I have 3 users.
Behind every iser there are 3 buttons, red/green button with name "A", EDIT and DELETE.

When I press button with name "A" (I guess this is to activate or deactivate user, right???) it leads to include/inc_act/act_user.php. I get the error "You don't have permission to access to this document on this server. "

Even if I set file act_user.php to chmod 777 it is the same error.

I installed the newest version 9-1-2004 version. Is there maybe some new files that has to be set to a higher rights level?

Please help.

Now I see that the same error occurs when I try to switch an article to visible/invisible. So it does the job (switches visibility) but redirects me to an error page. When I click BACK button I see the previous page with the switched visibility.

When upgrading my version to 9-1-2004 I did not update any datbase (did not read that I had to...) but that's not the problem I think.

Any clues please?
Thanks.

Another update: It seems that every php file that I want to access within the dir /phpwcms/include/inc_act/ gives me an error: "You don't have permission to access the document on this server.

In my servers error_log I see:
Directory index forbidden by rule: linux/path/to/domain/phpwcms/include/inc_act/

I did a fresh install in a new dir, but smae thing. It started since I installed version 9-1-2004.

Please help.

Yes,.... after a lot of testing and installing and uninstalling it seemed to be: Zone Alarm FireWall. When it was not running I got no error. I reduced the level of security within the firewall and now it works again

Hello!

Take the Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1.5. It's simple to configure and very effective.
Also it's NOT just an application firewall like Zonealarm is.

Cheers,

What do you mean by NOT just an application? It has to be one, hasn't it?
