Top- and Left-Navigation?

Hi folks!

I would like to create a website with a first-level top-navigation. and on any first-level the second-, third-level navigation in the left column! I've found something in the news: http://www.phpwcms.de/index.php?id=1,26,0,0,1,0.
But it dosent work... I got a structure like this:

Homepage (Startseite)
- About us (First level)
- Artists (First level)
- Artist 1 (Second level)
- Artist 2 (Second level)
- Contact (First level)
- Press (First level)

and i got only something like this: http://www.techadelic.ch/index.php

Could anybody help me? Thanks!

You have to set another starting point for {NAV_TABLE_COLUMN} to use something like this but additionally you have to create own template for every sub level to handle this. Then you can use {NAV_TABLE_COLUMN:MY_LEVEL_START_ID}

Look at that article - there is everything described to have it working. Check http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/ to learn how to change the default style. What you need is a CSS editor like that:

Thanks for the links, but not CSS is the problem! My problem is, i got no navigation with my structure and the top navigation tag! (see first message)

Ah OK - now I understand.

you need a structure first - and you have not created any at the moment. The home (index) is predefined. Do this first and you will have all you need.

What if you use the basic {NAV_TABLE_COLUMN} for testing - do get the structure?

Hm... Thats also empty... But in the structure, everything is on public, veröffentlichen and in menüstruktur anzeigen...

Möglicherweise hast Du dein Release noch nicht mit allen Patches versorgt. Dort war in der ersten Ausgabe eine Verwechselung zwischen im Menü zeigen/nicht zeigen. Also solltest Du einen Haken beim betreffenden Menü gesetzt haben, dann nimm den raus - rein heißt: versteckt.

Sollte das der Fall sein, aktualisiere mal auf die neueste Version.

Sind die jeweiligen Patches nicht im Komplett-Packet nachgetragen? Oder hab cih einfach eine krumme Version erwischt?

Nicht immer veröffentliche ich sofort das gepatchte core release - siehst Du am Datum. Das rutscht dann mit hoch auf das Patch-Datum.
