{GT:style}Gęślą{/GT} utf-8 openty

Post by jo »

First I would like to thanks Jérôme Gamez for outstanding module he has made.
I have read all the discussion about GT and I'm trying to make it works on my website. GT module works perfect with ASCII characters but I'm having difficulties to make it works with different languages (e.g.: RU and PL)
I would like to use it to generate image titles on Multilanguage PhpWCMS Website.

Code: Select all

My server setting:
OS:
	Linux, Debian Woody
Software:
	Apache 1.3.26
	PHP 5.0.2-1.dotdeb.5
		GD Support enabled
		GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
		FreeType Support enabled
		FreeType Linkage with freetype
		FreeType Version 2.0.9
		GIF Read Support enabled
		GIF Create Support enabled
		JPG Support enabled
		PNG Support enabled
		WBMP Support enabled
		XPM Support enabled
		XBM Support enabled
		JIS-mapped Japanese Font Support enabled
	Mysql ver 14.7 Distrib 4.1.7, for pc-linux (i386)

	PHPWCMS 1.1-RC4
Entire website has meta set utf-8(frontend and backend)

FONT: Microsoft Trebuchet MS (Open Type) trebuc.TTF
Theoretically the font has all characters I need but it does't render the way it shoud.

In my opinion it is configuration problem but I have no idea how to correct this behavior.
