why needs wcms ghostscript? on my server there is no ghostscript installed und wcms is running without any trouble

If you use ImageMagick it is recommend to have GhostScript installed because then ImageMagick is able to convert PS, PDF, EPS, AI files and so on too.

could it be, on my server is no ghostscript and imagemagick is not running correctly with wcms

yes and no - but phpwcms does not use GhostScript itself. This is only ImageMagick handles itself. If no GhostScript ImageMagick does not support some picture formats.

Have you tried GD2 for image converting?

i have tried GD2 on my hosting server, ther is no problem with gd2 but imagemagick is allthough not running
