Could a few of you kind folks go to http://www.amsalescentral.com/phpwcms/index.php

and tell me if you are having trouble getting to the site or it's pages?

I have been experiencing long periods where the site is extremely slow, even to the point where the browser times out trying to get the pages. My hosting company says it is my problem and not theirs.

Sometimes I can't even use phpwcms because everything is so slow or not working at all.

So you're hosting with them and it's your problem, not theirs, ha?
How do they know it's your problem?

Dump them fast and go host somewhere else.

What I meant was they are saying their equipment and software is fine. It is my problem meaning network traffic, browser problems, etc.
