Hi I haven't been able to find more info on the subject using the search feature, so forgive me it it has already been addressed, but I keep having to log in 2 times. The first time will list me as a user online but not show any of the admin menus. Then when I log in a second I can see it.

Unfortunately I am not always able to log in the second time. More often than not I get this error message;
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/user/public_html/include/inc_conf/conf.inc.php:77) in /home/user/public_html/login.php on line 142
I recently did a new (clean) install with the 8/27 package and have install patches 1 to 4. Everything else works just fine so at this point I am at a loss. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm on a linux server in a new site with nothing but this wcms on it in the default folder.

thanx in advance

thanks for your responses. I do believe I followed the instructions correctly. I usually don't have problems with installing programs such as this, (which I do quite frequently) As a matter of fact it installed smoothly and this problem showed up after about of week of normal use.

In any event I'm hoping I got it resolved. Please see this post for an update.
