after finish the installation..and i create the simple layout and template..but i have some problem ..

when i start at index.php..its just apear the layout only..not content with replacement tag {CONTENT} and other tags..
and one more problem is index.php not redirect to another page like news thats i want it will be first page to start..

could i know what to do? and whats wrong with my step?

Your explanation isn't clear... have you made categories and articles and content parts? Show us examples of what you have entered or how you have used the replacement tag(s). What did you enter into redirect: block?

how did you redirect from wich level do you want redirect!?

my web has finish configure some template and layout..and sample text for article..but i have a problem..a problem is no navigation menu and content for the web.. did u know whats problem?..i cannot prepared a screenshot..sorry..and sorry for bad subject..the subject is my mistake after my connection disconnect..

here is a screenshot.. the problem is navigation at the left block and a content at main block not appear anything..before this i have setup a layout and template thats i got from this forum(oliver template)....some images not show..just ignored it ..because i'm not copy to my pc..

i'm not installed imagemagic and ghostscript on my pc..but i try before to install.. but i dunno its work or not..its this take effect to display the web?.. i cann setting and login to admin panel corectly..

hello

for me it looks like you have a pathproblem did you can check it again.
maybe use $Server_document_root settings in the conf.inc.php you will find the value at the end of the conf.inc.php

i know..i don't have a copy images to related path..but i'm just need to see the content usually by replacement tag {CONTENT} ..and why navigation menu not appear at left block..i'm using OLIVER template.

hello

from where did you have the rep tags from the docu site!? did you copy paste them!? if yes retype them. maybe you have a space between the { and the descrbtion of the tag.
