anybody familiar with this gallery: http://photography-on-the.net/.

wondering whether it is possible to integrate it into a phpwcms website and how?

hello

no i don't know this gallery! but as i can see you can also use the image contentpart. if you wanna include this you can do this via iframe.

I don't think iframe is the way to go because of browser issues. as to the image content part, it would certainly work for just a few pictures but not if we are talking about hundreds or even thousands.

yes sure the image CP is not made for thousands of pictures!
but if you wann include an big one you have no other solution or you try to edit the whole source.

that questim about implement coppermine & co. gallery was post often. with the same result (iframe or external)

I agree - you should either use Coppermine in an iframe or as a pop-up link. You could customize the header and do what this guy did (http://www.kafkaesk.de/) with a discussion forum. Of course you would implement an external photo gallery script with the same header as your WCMS site. In my opinion, Coppermine (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/) is much better and less bugg-y than Gallery (http://gallery.sourceforge.net).

I think the iframe solution is the best since you update your pics to your gallery script anyway. You just have to install it into your wcms directory.
