I don't have an public index.html or .php.

how do visitors to my web site see the cms??

you have also an page but it's blank, so you need to create layout / template / content.

in the admin section of the back end there are two menu items 'layout' & 'templete'

layout sets the format of your web page and templates set out the format of your pages content .
there are a grate number of threads and tutorials in this forum for me to go indepth to explain these.

please have look at my Quick-Start Tutorial.

It's in German, i know, but is is a step by step "cookbook", and nearly each step is documented with a screenshot.

Give it a try.... i think you will get it :wink:
