How to format articles in article listing

Post by katiola »

I am a newbie to phpWCMS, and this provides me a good alibi (I hope so) for asking my first ever and very... stupid but fundamental question.

I would like to list the articles in one category like on this page :
http://www.rototomsunsplash.com/portale/index.php?home
For that I have created a template for "article listing" that I am trying to use. The template works fine for the first article that appears on screen. But the others are only listed by "[>] Title".

Ehem ehem ! Amazing. I asked it and am still alive !
Can anybody help, pleaaaze ?
Thanks

Hi katiola,

to show all your articles, the same way like the 1. , please go to ADMIN and edit your category, where the articles are in.

There you switch the field

top article count: from 1 to the number of used articles (or greater).

hello pepe

you're right! but you don't have this setting in the root!
i think fulvio creates an new structurelevel and made a redirection from to the root to this! so he can ste the topcount level!

if you would like all articles to be shown by DEFAULT you may set this variable to 99 (or whatever) in your include/inc_conf/conf.inc.php file.

Fantastic. Thanks guys ! :D
Good point from Pappnase anyway. I noticed that artifacts related to the root are relying on the default properties. That could be improved.
