Host updates broke phpwcms...

I get "We are sorry!

For service reasons the system is temporarily not attainable.

Visit us later again!"

when accessing my phpwcms. I last accessed it on March this year and edited some sites and it workes. So I assume a provider update broke it. Actually my provider uses: 10.0.27-MariaDB and php5.5.

I can set php to an earlier version, tried 5.4.-5.1. and 4.4. Didnt work. I guess a Mysql Update broke the whole thing. Unfortunately I have only cpanel access to the servern and cant change Mysql.

The phpwcms version I use is:

"1.1-RC4 27-08-2004"


(Yes I know, but it has been working wonderfully until now


Could you plz give me advice? I am reluctant to update phpwcms, which I fear might break it even more..

hy, thanks. i could solve it, somehow the mysql password got resetted (must have been because of a hoster update).

Having a 2004 version, an updates is absolutly advisable due to security reasons.

For your current problem I guess this will help.
