After a long time of testing and development it was time to release another major update of phpwcms – version 1.8.0. It's not the last one for this season but I recommend everybody to update their installation as soon as possible.
Every newer release is easier to install than ever and the next release 1.9.0 – expected sometime around New Year 2016 – will make some advanced steps to better upgradability, compatibility and flexibility. phpwcms will be smoothly pushed forward in a consistent way over the next months. I will try my best to give phpwcms a future. It's still worth for many.
