Problem with image preview !

When i upload an image with the file directory module i can't see the preview thumbnail ! both for the .jpg and .gif ! it's the same thing when i create an article with image ...
I don't understand why ! GD2 is well actived and configured !

what is the error/symptoms?
are your path's folders set to 777?

There is no symptom !
and my folders are ok for writing ..

is gd availeable for your webspace? is it activated in phpwcms?

maybe try image magick

would you post or pm a link to your phpinfo?
writting is good for the folders but they need execution rights to. also. would you have any htaccess files the over ride the cmod setttigs anywhere by accident?
