invalid newsletter subscriber address validation (?)

Can anyone help me briefly, how to correct this issue ... :

I tried to enter an subscriber to the newsletter:
name@f.bg.ac.rs (rs = Republic Serbia)
I get an "invalid address" response.

Previously the subscriber had the address name@f.bg.ac.yu (yu = Yugoslavia) and it worked fine.

So I guess the validation doesn't like the ending "rs" but I couldn't find the workaround myself (I'm sure it is easy)

Danke Heiko, das hatte ich gesucht ...

Zwar fuktionierte es nicht, wenn ich den gesamten Code ersetzte, sondern erst als ich die TDL "rs" in in die alte Liste einfügte. Vielleicht weil auf der betreffenden Seite nicht die aktuellste Version sondern nur v 1.4.2 läuft.
