Benutzerrechte erweitern

Post by fitus »

Hi,

Just want to ask if someone is already working on an extended user priviledge system which will you allow to grant write udn edit rigths for a user just for a subtree or at least exactly one level in the site structure.

When there isn't anyone working on it I'll try to do something.

I think per Article is the best solution for this.
but if a per structure basis is used then the work-around would be to create a new hidden structure with the selected users permittions set favourebly for that structure. then just link to the stucture or articles with it.

Yes but the problem there is, that I have some users I don't want to grant access for writing articles in the whole site structure.

I don't exactly know what you want to do. Is there something in phpwcms that I missed? I haven't seem the possibility to grantwrite access for a specific user or group of users to just one specific part of the site structure.

Hi,
I think the best way to realize this will be to create group of users. Then you put one user into one or more groups and give the groups the (special) rights.

But how to code this, I don't know … :(
