I've been having a problem with trying to add articles on a new installation of phpwcms. Ninety-percent of the time fckeditor.html downloads instead of parses, which stops the creation of the article. I don't understand why at least a couple of times it's worked as it should, but out of working on the problem only two articles have been created out of at least 30 or more attempts.
I've put a .htaccess to make sure that .html is allowed, and re-uploaded the fckeditor. I also changed the settings in the config to first spaw and then to no editor, and I keep having the same problem.
Is this a problem with phpwcms or my server? Any ideas?
Thanks,
phpwcms version 3.07
Mac, 10.4.11
Browsers, Safari and Camino
Linux server, CENTOS 5.2
php: 5.2.6
mysql: 5.0.67
Error logs don't show any related errors.

Re: fckeditor downloads instead of parses
After kind of putting the problem on hold, I decided to check things again... and the problem still persists. I did try on Opera and got an error about not displaying content. I've included a snapshot of it.
Any ideas?
