GoogleMaps Module is updated to version 3.0

Although me and claus did a lot of testing I want to be a bit more sure that it runs on different systems.
I need 3 testers, please PM me when you want to be one of them and when you've time to play around with the module in the next couple of days, preferable on a life system.

Eventually I want to release it in about a week.

GoogleMaps Module Version 3.0 is released!

It's been a long journey with lots of obstacles. But I think the result is a big step forward compared to the old version.
Many hours are necessary until the release of a module like this one. And it's never really finished.
Though tested on several systems there may be some bugs an certain configurations - please report bugs here.
But post the errors only in the tread when it's of public interest, otherwise please PM me.
Special needs like for e.g. an xml loader class for several hundred markers, or georss compatibility can be added as separate (paid) extensions.

For personal experience, maybe this happens if you not logged out, before to log in in order to download the Google maps module.

Log out from the system and log in again with google maps user and password.

Anyway, thanks a lot to breitsch for his module, it's really a great advance for phpwcms.

Hi oeconom,
this happens to me but with another file (editpoints.inc.php).
The problem should be the bad formatting of the file..if you open the file (listings.point.inc.php) via FTP (with filezilla I choose modify) you will see a bad format (or without format file, with confuse characters).

So I open the fresh file (the one downloaded with the module), copy all, paste into the file open in FTP, save and overwrite the one on the server.

This should solve.

seems to be somhow different for me...
The file is formated correct (opened the same way like you described, also in filezilla).
The affected file is always another one, depending on what Google Maps Module Tab I am...
Points='listing.points.inc.php'
Category='listing.cats.inc.php'
Icons='listing.icons.inc.php'
Language='listing.lang.inc.php'
Sitemap='listing.sitemap.inc.php'

So for me it seems like a more general problem...

You have E_NOTICE in ERROR_reporting on (most likely php.ini), but I'd like to have a look on some issues in your backend module section.

Is it /will it be possible to have more than one map key assigned?
Background:
if the site can be called by different domain names right now the map is working for one domain only. But when you have some language trees to aim at with different domains there will be an error with all but one....

you need a different key for each domain, though (google restriction)
I'll send you a modified file to test it, then we publish it here when it works, OK?
