Just trying to change this:
<h2>8 dages grupperejser 2008</h2>
to
<h2>8 dages grupperejser 2009</h2>
both are the source you get when you switch in the WYSIWYG HTML editor (fck)

Are you working with IE6 / 7 ?? If so, change to FF3 eventually...
It's mostly all about maintaining two or three customer's sites Still supporter for the band Mykket Morton. Visit Mykket Morton on FB. Listen Mykket Morton and live videos on youtube.
Now building a venue for young artists to get wet on stage, rehearsal rooms, a studio, a guitar shop - yes I'm going to build some guitars.

Working with FF3 and ie 7 on XP and Safari and FF3 on OS X.

I managed to change the 8 to 9 by changing from "fckeditor: phpwcms_Default" to "fckeditor Default"
but still have similar problems.

What happens when you turn the WYSIWYG-Editor off?
(just for testing  )

Did you try to update to the latest release =r270? Perhaps this will solve your problem?

No I didn't!

It's quite important that the site is up right now and I don't feel comfortable with updating.
I'm afraid of the consequences and the time involved if anything goes wrong.

Basically I don't know how to do it :)

in this case i'd try to change from "8" to "9" by using --> phpMyAdmin.
really strange effect. no idea.

to be on the safe side i would do/try also:
- clean cache
- reboot router (new IP)
- restart

ARE THERE ANY UPDATES OF APACHE WE DON'T KNOW? What the f--- is responsible for the annoying "bad request"-sessions out there???¿¿

Forgive me my ignorance but I just noticed

that in phpMyAdmin it's: MySQL connection collation: utf8_unicode_ci
and in conf-inc.php its: $phpwcms['db_collation'] = 'utf8_danish_ci';

Could this be a problem and can I fix it in a safe way?

it could be possibly one reason but i think UTF is UTF, regardless of which _sub_setting. 8)
anyway, i wouldn't change it on the running / public / live system... [without any backups]

Did you try to give username and password to a friend and let him/her doing the changes? maybe it is a problem of your browser and not phpwcms.
