Response on article

Post by interad »

Hello

Is it possible to add a function so that visitors can response on articles that are posted. (with a option to set response on/off by the admin)

Kind regards

Hello

You meen like it's made at heise.de?
If you need such functions, maybe you should make up your mind, if an coummunity management system is the better choice to you. Normally such features are not implemented in CMSs, because they are serving firm2public content. Community systems serving content user2public. So, I think there are a lot of tasks which should be done until implementing such features (my opinion).

Cheers,

Hello Florian

You are basicly right.
But that's why I want an option in the admin section (to turn it on or off)

99% of my website is content, text with pictures
but I like the idea to have one section where people can response on what I writhe. Kind of feedback of my visitors.

Hello interad,

Ok, now I got it. You meen shomething like a "shoutbox". Thats a realy nice idea.
I will build something like this. But it could take some days, because I've got a lot of work here and 100000000001 taks to perform before ;)

Cheers,
Florian

Addition: There is allready something like this existing. Try to implement it :) The code is... ah a little bit "unordered", but it seems to work :D http://www.phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=119
