Setup cannot be started

Post by Igor »

Hello there,

I would like to try phpwcms on my site. Php (v4.0.6) and MySQL are supported. ImageMagick and GhostScript are not installed.

When I click the start butto, nothing happens. What to do?

these are not needed.

the main reason for these (and GD1/2) is for the creation of thumbnails for your images.

preferably you should have GD2 or IM installed.
read your phpinfo() to test for GD1 or 2

PHP <4.2.1 is NOT supported. It will NOT work because all new global PHP vars are not available under PHP 4.0.6

:(So - I have to say sorry.

Ask you provider to update to PHP >4.3 - that's recommend. Earlier version will not be supported.

regards
Oliver
