It's done - one of my longer term projects - the website of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation - is online now.
Have a look yourself: http://www.bauhaus-dessau.de
Switch is not the big-bang related to the old site because there was no redesign - just the migration from semi-static pages to phpwcms and make it more accessible. So it's more an evolutionary change.
Many improvement to phpwcms you have seen over the last 6 months are based on the Bauhaus website.

Nice site, I like very much the menu and its colours.
What kind of RT have you used to realize that menu?

Hi Oliver,
nice project.
(hey, the shop is still running under asp )
Someone might have noticed, that v1.3.9 sends a new header information: Transfer-Encoding: chunked. Well, i don't know exactly how essential, what's that in aid of, what's that supposed to be good for? But it seems, that sending "gzip"-compressed pages to the client is concerned. http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec3.html
Will be this the next step? (modern, faster )
Dessau seems to be firmly under OG's control...

Oliver, this site ..outstanding as always... becomes normal, Olivers Site are extra class.
Only one thing: the "kolleg" entry opens a color with white letters which is for me ( 2 times 24years) almost unreadable .. as a hint only. Now going on with e-learn-reding this site *g*

The menus are custom dev.
Colors and positions are pure CSS.
The height is fixed by JavaScript.

Jürgen, i think for this case (for your case ) oli made the css switch to change to a dark layout. five stars for the great icon navi in combination with the search box.DF6IH wrote:Only one thing: the "kolleg" entry opens a color with white letters which is for me ( 2 times 24years) almost unreadable .. as a hint only.
on the other hand jürgen is right, also on my notebook the bright layout is partial unreadable. Especially the text parts light grey (silver) on white backgrund i.e. below the search box. Maybe not all people will find the css-switch.
