Website for Digital Experience Design

Post by cyppher.nl »

hi there,

For my own company called 'Onbeperkt Media' I've developed this new site: http://www.onbeperktmedia.nl
It's a Dutch corporate site and should inspire small companies to get in touch.

Completely valid XHTML 1.0 Strict and Search Engine friendly (well written XHTML and proper use of semantics).
It renders well on IE 6 and 7 (even in IE8 it's shown pretty well), Firefox and Safari.

I've to let my partner rewrite and complete the text and add some visuals, but the site is already live!

Thanks to Oli G and all of you coders who've written great stuff!
Please feel free to give your feedback - I'm always in for other people's opinions.
If you have suggestions, always welcome :)
Thanks!

I like it :D

I like the floating containers on the right, very nice effect.

Very nice rollover effect on the icons at the bottom of the page, how did you create that? Also they don't link to anything.

Was it difficult to get everything to pass strict xhtml? Where did you set it to strict in the CMS to render this way? default.inc.php?

i really like it, too, but would give 10px padding left/right additionally to the main content.

Mac Dock Style - please, cyppher.nl, tell us: How did you do?
And yes, why are there no links?

Hmm, mistake ,links to "template.html" --> 404

Would say no - question of CSS and editing (lot's) of templates. Anyway, would be nice to get to know if it takes a lot of effort.

Just look into the source code. There is a java script for the rollover effect.
