[SOLVED] Google maps key does not work

Ok, i finally managed to get google maps installed.
Now i have a different problem.

i registered for a google maps key and i received a key which i entered into the mod.
Now i am getting an error message when i try to visit the content part saying this key is registered for a different site.

I tried several keys for several / subdirs /root dir / phpwcms root (all on the same site) etc. Still the same problem.

i just need to know, can this also happen if i did not create a google maps CP correctly or is it really the key that does not work ?

Your problem is the key!
do register the key for your directory where phpwcsm is installed, it's easier!
make sure you copy/paste the entire key string

I did that actually. the site is located at http://www.domain.nl/site (phpwcms root)
i registered for exactly that folder and still does not work

also tried http://www.domain.nl but did not work either. So i really dont get
what i did wrong

try to register http://domain.nl only - this is valid even for your subdirectories and for http://www... too (because this is the domain). At least for me this did work

Hi Claus,

I did as you suggested but im still getting the same error.
Deleted all entrys in the table and tried again, same problem.

I am going to upload and setup again now and create a new CP
for it. Maybe that works ....

Well, here is the sad news .... it's still not working and im giving up on this module.

Thanx to breitsch all is working now.
After deleting all database entry's and folders, uploading everything again,
installed it and registered for a new google key, the whole thing works great

Heyjey- great news because this module is really working like a charm (once everything ist installed correctly)
