Just wanted to make a separate entry of this very nice feature.

JensZ posted this code on his site. I installed on my localhost and it works great. Thought others would take particular interest in this.....

When creating a new article, this enhancement will make sure that article templates default to what is set up in the page template of the article category that the article is created in.

does this hack still work? couldn't find the code to replace in the files it specified.

To be honest have not tried this recently - obviously the directory names have changed since then. My instinct it still should work - might want to carefully go throught the instructions supplied (comparing context and expressions) - This would be a nice feature for core -
