"file center" - create folder error

Hey

Until now I have just tested this system on my localhost and now I would try to test it on the internet and I had no problems with installing it.

And as far as I can see the only error I get is when I try to upload a file via "file center" where I get this error:

Error while creating user directory.

Please do not try again - this is an server error! Contact the webmaster to tell as soon as possible!

How do I fix that?

And when I via "ftp takeover" try to "take over selected file" I get this error

selected files uploaded via ftp will be taken over!

I guess it is the same reason to the 2 errors, but how do I or my webprovider fix it ?

Maybe this happens in safe mode.

Create the folder manually - folder = your user ID, maybe "1" or "2" and so on. Give all permissions to that folder.

Inside the folder phpwcms_filestorage (default install name) create new sub directories and name these 1 ... 2 ... 3

The number is equal the user ID of the phpwcms backend user. phpwcms stores all uploaded files per user in such dir.

thx, the ordner allready exists.. but a simple delete and new create helps.

after the import / upload came a errorpage, but the file is on server
