Standard Blocks

I am attemping to duplicate templates previously used with other CMS - this is not possible because you are unable to edit the standard template blocks to add some options not listed within the page laout area.

What would be a great area is to add fields in the page layout area that contains the code used for the table used to create the blocks - so users have 100% total control on how the blocks are created.

Otherwise where is the code stored if a user should need to make a manual change?

Have a look in content.func.inc.php line 140-159

But it is not recommend at the moment. I will change the template stuff for handling both free and standard layout
