ask this question on the joomla forum

you should base your desicion on wheather you need user management?

I do my best for a simple answer with my computer english.
The reasen is simple: Mambo, Jomla etc are no open content managment systems. If you want design more than standard layout you have many problems with personaly layouts and must use additionally tools for these CMS.

PHPWCMS is a open system with no layout restrictions and easy template working. I have tested many systems (from TYPO3, Mambo and soon) And I'm still here :)
