It's time to give a new information to you.
Before finalizing permissions I have implemented a simple plugin mechanism. It's working yet and allows to create custom plug-ins for phpwcms divided into "backend/frontend", "backend only" and frontend only". I plan an enhancement for admin section at later time.
The plug-in API might not go as deep as in other systems because of the missing object-orientated programming in phpwcms. So there is no chance to plug to the system at any position. But I think I have found a good compromise. There are several places you can dock with your plug-ins.
Release 1.3.0 is in preparation and will have plug-in technique by default
CU and have a nice Sunday
