Hi Oliver,

nice one... ;-)

Is it possible to get a more compact view without the need to scroll so much (perhaps a monthly view) ? Or to decide myself, what view I want to have in the backend?

...monthly view is default. Enhancements might come later.

In my eyes it's the best view - all others are too much or too little.

Hi Oliver,

when I see this calendar backend view my heart is jumping. I'm excited to find out what the little icons on the right can do and what it's gonna look like in the frontend...

Have a great Sunday - I'm already having one ...

Hi Oliver,

no I didn't mean a monthly calendar view where all days are above each other like in your screen shot, I mean a compact monthly view like in JensZ's calendar hack:

will not come because makes no sense - you see nearly nothing in backend. Let me finish and then you can criticize.

It's a shame that this page (just this one) couldn't vary from the standard backend "look" to take advantage of the free and usable space to the left of dotted line for all 30 days (beneath Benutzer Online).

Perhaps, here, the list of users could just be a horizontal list above the horizontal dotted line, with the increased width put to use? Anyway, it looks GREAT, of course. Adds huge potential, certainly! 8)

Oliver,

that was not a critique, that was only a question... please do not always see some negative touch in our questions. It was only a question, not more!!

Please finish your work and then we will test it...

If there will not be any more bottoms on right, then it would be much better with some kind of raw for every "KW" or month.
Eg
März 2007
KW 9: 1 2 3 4
KW 10: 5 6 7 8 9 10 11

etc.

Otherwise I have to agree with jscholtysik, it seems like lots of scrolling. Generally on wcms (at least MOD and site structure etc.) is lots of scrolling up and down and lots of button clicks. But with better stricture will solve that’s feeling.

However, most important is that all functions works. Design and structure comes later always but thinking on it from begining make the job easier later

Tanks for let me have my opinion

each day can have unlimited dates - and I'm no friend of tooltips in backend. That's why it is 1 day per row and 1 month in total.

Is it possible to have several Calendars per site? Like, our site has different departments, and it would be great if they could have all their own calendar.

And then it would also be great if there was some simple possibility of entering the same event in more than one calendar.

Will anything like that be possible?
Many thanks

Haven't thought about using different calendars - but calendar entry can be tagged and based on this separated in frontend.

Wie ist der Stand der Dinge? Die Frage soll nicht hetzen, ich bin nur neugierig. Gruß
