Cut , copy & paste problems in Mozilla ( using HTMLarea

Post by DeXXus »

If getting error message when trying to cut, copy or paste from Mozilla that reads something like this:
[JavaScript Application]

Unprivileged scripts cannot access Cut/Copy/Paste programatically for security reasons. Click OK to see a technical note at mozilla.org which shows you how to allow a script to access the clipboard.
Check this thread for possible solution(s):

Has this issue been solved, problem is if you are copy pasting into different sites then this does not work and you have to change the pref file everytime to include all addresses....

new FIREFOX does not even load the HTML area...

You can paste if you select the html mode first; after that you can switch back to WYSIWYG mode.

This is the fix, only problem is if you have lots of clients, you need to edit this for all clients, which becomes a little frustrating... FCK editor is the alternative solution...
