Yes - would be even cooler: imagine (5 * 4) * (-2) or (2-3)*(-5) :lol: :lol:
no zero, but ... :lol:
It's mostly all about maintaining two or three customer's sites Still supporter for the band Mykket Morton. Visit Mykket Morton on FB. Listen Mykket Morton and live videos on youtube.
Now building a venue for young artists to get wet on stage, rehearsal rooms, a studio, a guitar shop - yes I'm going to build some guitars.

I really like this one, and it works just as described.
However, for some reason, it can be passed. I still receive spam-messages.
I followed the instruction, it is required to fill out the field, and I added to the mail that the response should be sent with it as well (just to check if it was filled out at all).
In the received mail, the value from the spam protect is empty.

It seems that it is possible to submit the form without having to fill out the math spam protect field.
What might cause this ?

True, when i fill out the contactform, and try anything but fill in the correct answer to the math spam protection it refuses to submit the form.
But somehow, some 'shitty' spambot succeeds in submitting the form.

I would like to submit something to code.google...., but I thought I try the forum first; maybe someone encountered this as well.
I asked a collegue, and he thinks it may have something to do with the hidden field <input type="hidden" name="spam_result" value="93e9d0134dee186fb9a5c0fb73e4b17f" />

Maybe someone else might have a bright idea, and if not, I'll submit it as a bug (good suggestion! - thanks).

I have submitted the issue on code.google.com, issue 68.

Very offtopic; the comic site you mentioned is actually the birthcard we had made for my son. It tells in a way our story (the quest prior to the birth of our son). We lived on a houseboat when we got pregnant (look at belly of my wife). Since we still had a lot of work to be done before the baby came, we went to the shipyard for inspection, and during construction work there was an accident that burned down our ship (represented by the storm). It was total chaos, and really a black page in our history. So we started from scratch (continue quest). Aaron was born on 23.1.2007. When I held him, I never feld more proud.
Ok, the comic was never ment for the big audience, but it's nice that you like it. It was creatde by my friend Arezz (www.arezz.be - under construction so it seems).

Ontopic; the site were the problem exists is www.etca.be

In r241 this was fixed by Slackero (superfast response !).
I've updated to r241 yesterday and so far no spam messages.

What do you mean by that? Isn't it working?

Hi claus,
thank you for stepping in once again. Well, I can't remember the right settings e.g. calculations. Is it possible to have more than one calculation? Do you have an working example? Thank you.

You don't mean calculation with brackets, do you? This I haven't tested, but probably it isn't possible ( like (-4)*(2-7) as mentioned before). But would be cool anyway.... But first GURM!

Yes, GURM first!
I thought that I have to type the calculation samples like: calc = 3 + 5 || calc = 2 * 7 into the field, but that is ==> absolute nonsense!

Now I remember. Just leave as is, for example:

Code: Select all

+ = summing
- = subtract
* = multiply
: = divide
calc = calculation:
Because the little arithmetic problems are generated automatically.
