Video Tutorial - Google Maps Module

Post by 360fusion »

Hi,

I have created another tutorial using Camtasia this time for the Google maps module. There is already some good documentation by Breitsch but this may help some newbies.
This is just the basics of installing the module and setting up one location on the map.

Watch the video tutorial: http://www.360fusion.co.uk/video/googlemaps/

Google maps module thread: http://forum.phpwcms.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=15818
Google maps module documentation: http://web.casa-loca.com/index.php?goog ... umentation
Download the Google maps module: http://web.casa-loca.com/index.php?googlemaps
username: googlemod
password: phpwcms

Google maps API sign up page: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html

Thanks
Ben

PS, a special thanks to Breitsch for creating such a great module. (Sorry if I didn't pronounce your name right)

It's mostly all about maintaining two or three customer's sites Still supporter for the band Mykket Morton. Visit Mykket Morton on FB. Listen Mykket Morton and live videos on youtube.
Now building a venue for young artists to get wet on stage, rehearsal rooms, a studio, a guitar shop - yes I'm going to build some guitars.

it sounds more like 'britisch', which is not really how it's spelled around here, would be more like 'braitsch'.

hey, that's pretty cool to watch for the programmer itself, specially how quick you figured out the comma mistake in the longitude field :D
But you use the old version! There is an update available which has much more features!
And you use it in an 1.3.9 installation so all the icons won't be shown in backend (couse OG removed most of the icons in the img folder  )

But anyway, thank for your support of the module!

BTW: next update (v2.2) is coming soon

because it's important!

Thank you very much for your video tutorial. Very helpful. It's much easier if you SEE how it works. Thanks for your work.
