This is certainly done with ContentPart "teaser/link article" (one of those really versatile CPs).
Give it a try yourself! ;)
It's mostly all about maintaining two or three customer's sites Still supporter for the band Mykket Morton. Visit Mykket Morton on FB. Listen Mykket Morton and live videos on youtube.
Now building a venue for young artists to get wet on stage, rehearsal rooms, a studio, a guitar shop - yes I'm going to build some guitars.

Hi Larissa,

nothing easier than that!

1. write some articles and fill in the title, subtitle, some words inside the summary WYSIWYG field and a proper Image (second input field for images) (maybe you can use your existing articles which some little corrections !?)
2. put a content part "teaser/articllisting" inside your article of the (for example) homepage
and inside the content part, select the new written articles from part 1.
3. select an template inside the teaser-contentpart...

Have a look inside the fronted... works... but doesn't look that good... but works!

4. because of the fact, that the selectable templates will not look like your needs...
duplicate one of them, rename the "new" one as you like ( larissas_teaser.tmpl )and begin to change the look of YOUR new template.

5. Don't forget to select YOUR template inside the content part "teaser" !

That should do the trick! Try it!
