Help is needed : content is not shown anymore

Hello,

here is the site: http://www.gti6.com created using phpwcms some 5-6 years ago. The person who developed it is not available anymore. I was using adiministrator login to edit articles, but nothing more.
Since a week or so all the articles are not visible anymore. Logging in as admin I do not see any chaned - everything is in database exactly as it was before, all pages can be edited.
I have access to the site using ftp and phpwcms adin, but do not have much clue on how phpwcms works - I'm professionally pretty far from this domain and know just basics of databases, scripting languages like PHP, etc.
I'll appreciate advises on the points to check.

Hosting rovider does not report any changes in hosting, but I do not trust that....
