jquery fade script for images <div> - no white?

Hi all

I'm using the jquery fade script for images <div> cntpart. Can I manipulate the script so that it doesn't fade through white but directly? Here's what I mean http://accenta.biz. The "white" is especially disturbing when I fade in the words.
