images special - slider auto play

I'm playing around with slider in the special images content part in the latest version of phpwcms and was wondering if any knew if the slider function be set to auto play:

ie: when the page loads move to the next image after say 3 seconds, still with the option to manually move the images left and right.

or would this need some custom script adding to the slider.tmpl in template/inc_css/specific?
