My host is recommending me to use the feature of running php as cgi, for security reasons. Does anyone use this method, and does it affect phpwcms in any way?

Can someone help? I appreciate very much Oliver developing a phpwcms forum, but what about extremely large forums with very complex features? ( I mean user rankings, hybrid views, pm system, attachments, etc ) How would one go about integrating vBulletin and phpWcms for example?

Hi, is there a way to setup the e-mail form so that it doesnt need to use any of my e-mail settings? Should I use 'sendmail' or 'mail' option ? My form works and gives me a 'success' message, but no mails ever get sent.

My problem is not listing articles in a conventional way. My problem is listing articles with the ARTICLE MENU CONTENT PART. It has its own sorting method, and its own display method, different from the conventional structure listing. Example: http://www.phpwcms-docu.de/content/images/9eeef2edda4c22...

I am listing articles through ARTICLE MENU content part, but they do not follow the manual order of my articles. What to do?

( Directory's listing order is already set to manual, but ARTICLE MENU content part has its own listing order it seems. )

Hi Karla, I've tried that but it doesnt work. I did find a solution, however, instead of using Article Menu, I am now using Link Article to display the list of articles.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? Please let me know if you can, this is really important and frustrating.

I published the articles, but I once I edit #10 for example, the listing becomes:

#3

etc.
