Re: Article titles as links?
Do you have any experience yet with CP 'link article' / CP 'teaser'? I do not, no. The behavior I'm used to of course is having the {CONTENT} tag is a page template and all the articles in the category level being linked to automatically. I've only been working with this version a few days and this...

Article titles as links?
Okay, so I've been using v1.1x for over four years now. In that version the titles of articles are links to the articles themselves. I put together a test-install of 1.3x to get familiar with before I finally upgrade my real installation, but now the only link to get to the articles is the more... l...

Re: WCMS-Blog install help
No worries. That's one of my "throwaway" addresses exactly for the purpose of public display. My spam filters actually do really well on keeping the volume in check. But thanks for your concern.

Re: WCMS-Blog install help
That would be great! Of course you know, I'll probably need help with that too.

Re: WCMS-Blog install help
Okay, getting better. So, if the rights thing isn't the CHMOD, any ideas why I'm getting that message? I suppose the author thing probably isn't a typical function of a weblog. Admittedly, I'm not exactly planning to use this in a "typical" way, it's mostly becoming a workaround for one of...

Re: WCMS-Blog install help
Yeah, I downloaded it from your site. I eventually did get it running, and despite some issues (like the comments field always being open even in Firefox. I just eliminated the comments elements from the frontend.render.php - I didn't want the comment functionality anyway. ;)) it's mostly going good...

Re: WCMS-Blog install help
Yeah, I can do the database tables manually if needed, but I wanted to see if I could get the automatic version to work first. Plus I need to know how to make phpwcms recognize it. Any help there?

WCMS-Blog install help
I've never tried to add a new module to phpwcms before. Could someone possibly give me a basic rundown of how to get the blog mod installed and running, or point me to someplace where a guide is posted? I'm particularly having troubles right now with the creation of the database tables. The script c...

Multiple full articles
I'm in the process of updating an old installation. To that end I did an installation in a side directory so I could play with it and get familiar prior to actually enacting it for real. So I've just today become acquainted with the SHOW_CONTENT tag, but I'm not sure it's actually going to do what I...

Display author name?
Is there a way to display on an article the name of the author?
I mean, without manually adding "Posted by so and so on..." to the title information.
Thanks.
