Re: php error on transferring my site
Definately got the db on localhost. I am using phpwcms on an internal server to create an intranet and we have other apps runnning on that server using mysql/php. You suggested what sounds like a worth while test: "Have you tried the db_host (path that you entered) with your browser to see if ...

Re: php error on transferring my site
The error I encounter now is connecting to the db (i.e. i get a 'dbdown' error). I'm thinking this is either: - an IIS server problem OR - mySQL version problem Can anyone suggest a resolution? LAMP maybe? For starters, are you sure the database host is localhost, as you had entered above -or- is i...

Re: "Failed opening required" - line 30? help, please
What path did you enter in "conf.inc.php" ? The "www" folder is the one where I have to put all files, even in html. I can't remove it, according to the hosting guidelines. What do you mean by this? That there can be no subfolders for 'www' folder? [phpwcms is based on a folder ...

Re: Error message using 'form' from frontend
I don't know the specifics, but used as a form of SPAM-checking for guestbook and such (as well as CAPTCHA checking) by OliverG. For example: Look closely at the code in "cnt18.article.inc,php" for the places where the word "flooding" is mentioned... if(isset($_POST['guestbook_em...

Re: Error message using 'form' from frontend
The code suggests form "issues" as the cause, which triggers phpWCMS SPAM checking routine(s).
For example, repeated CAPTCHA entry failures and/or form-field "flooding" (in a short period of TIME).
