MySQL error {SOLVED}

I'm not sure if this topic has to go here - admin/ Mod please move as necessary. As I couldn't find aything about this issue here in the forums I post the problem and the solution as it could be helpful eventually. I have version 1.2.6 - 14.12.2005 (but this does not matter i guess). When I updated ...

Please help with FCKeditor2 in html newsletter {Solved}

I'm using FCK2editor and it works fine except in the newsletter section. When creating a newsletter I can't use FCKeditor2. It displays well but the buttons don't work at all. Everytime I click a button I encounter and "error on page" (yellow triangle on the very left in the status bar). B...

phpwcms 1.2.1-DEV installation problem

I installed this version and everything went fine - appearantly. All databases created, admin account present, newly created conf.inc.php uploaded (all values filled in correctly - double checked) etc. I installed the cms many times now and it always was no problem. Not so this time. After uploading...

Email contact form with css classes

I got a lot of help in these forums so I'm glad that finally it seems that I can contribute something. By using the Email contact form you are able to add styles per form field. You do this by just typing the styles themselves into the field like: color: #000000; font-size: 12px; etc.... phpwcms add...

@ Kac Sorry that it didn't work for you - but as I said - it was working for me. I'm afraid that I can't help you but probably you are more experienced with php than I am as a friend did that stuff for me - not I myself. I was there and looked over his shoulder but finally I couldn't do more than co...

@ Kvist Actually my description overwrites parts of ionrocks installation instructions. I could try to change them accordingly but I am afraid a bit it might confuse the users of the board if there are two different installation instructions circling around - also I don't want to "correct"...

I have now a solution for my case. A friend of mine who is capable of php programming redid some entries and now it works. Below I post the relevant code: 1. The database info was included in mod_calendar/install/install.php <?php include ("../inc_lib/main.config.php"); // open the connect...

@ Kvist This is pretty much the same history as I have. I was able to eliminate the error messages depending in line 2 of install/config.php by specifying the path. In my case it looks like this: include ("../inc_lib/main.config.php"); This makes the 1st 3 error messages disappear. After t...

I created the tables manually now, but still in the admin area nothing happens if I click the calendar mod button - no calendar appears.

Any ideas???

I can provide a login to my cms install if necessary to have a look.

My main.config.php looks like this: <?php // main config for calendar mod // table names $prefix = ""; $tables['cal_events'] = $prefix . "phpwcms_cm_events"; $tables['cal_categories'] = $prefix . "phpwcms_cm_categories"; $GLOBALS['tables'] = $tables; ?> Looks pretty muc...

When I try to install the mod (I made everything like in the Installation description that comes with the mod - double-double-double checked that!) I get the menu item in "Modules" in the admin section that should call the "do-function" but when I click it nothing happens. When i...
