I think the more important part is, that you might get into trademark violation. As well as problems differentiating your project and its goals.

If you are using a newer SuSE distribution you need to install php4-session. That message means that PHP is not able to handle the session stuff right now.

phpBB has also email notification and email digest notification. So that wouldn't be a reason to switch in my opinion.

Wobei ich ihm schon etwas Recht geben muss. Es macht sich nicht wirklich gut, immer wieder Termine zu verschieben bzw nicht einzuhalten.

Ich würde auch gern sehen, was es in der 2er so alles geben wird und ob es noch Sinn macht zu warten.

Eclipse with PHPeclipse or Zend.

When doing real big things Zend is great 'cause of the debugger and so on. When coding in many different languages Eclipse is great as you have to learn the IDE stuff only once.

How stable will the dev release be you think? Will there be any functional changes the (backend-) user might notice? Cause I've gotta make a little seminar for some people who should use the backend on the first weekend in January. Is there some roadmap available showing how you would like to proceed?
