but i have seen a few wcms sites with a seperate news section, how do they do that? maybe external-php??

i want a news block on the right side, is that possible with the right block or do i have to do that with a table in main block? and how do i get specific contents (news) in there?

i had the same idea just a few moments ago when i tried to change a template and didn't want to loose the original one!

also for layouts, articles and categories this would be very usefull!

but how could i select a single page-layout with phpmyadmin, for example?

i had somethin in my old html-design, but that was a set of three gifs for each menu-item, don't know how to do that with wcms...
