I tried 1.2.9 and 1.2.8 with no luck....

Not sure how it seems the screen shots Gratch has are from 1.2.8

I assume this is because Gallerix does not support 1.3 yet...

I ran into the same issue... downgrading phpwcms now.

Its the name of the game with hacked addons...

Gallerix is worth it though... hopefully with some help this mod can be updated soon.

When making a new template and saving it...

It appears to save, no errors, but does not ever save.

When we create a sub menu under a top level menu, then add the page contents via the HTML content type the page appears as blank. If I hide article 2 ( make it non public ) then Article 1 will display ...

The latest versions have #php_flag register_globals Off
in the .htaccess and that is what kills this script... so I guess a person needs to find out if why and if they can be turned on...

I commented out this line and the error goes away "Error loading up link for recommendation."

Rebuilding Apache/PHP in cpanel with magic quotes off seemed to fix this, Cpanel has alot of problems with easy apache right now and it may take a few tries

Its a Dell PE2650 2x2.4 Xeon HT 5x73GB Raid 5 box... at Washington, D.C.'s Equinix ...

Is it not possible to have the installation either set the proper file permissions for all files as part of the install process, or a small batch file we can run ???

Or can the install tar ball contain the files with the right permissions ?

Perhaps they already do and my host is just masking them ...

I have my install in a folder called cms for now, and I was able to fix the editor problem by restricting the rewrite rule to the folder cms

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/(cms)/?.*$
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_]+)\.html$ /cms/index\.php?$1 [L]

another way would be to set a rewrite condition to ignore ...

I just patched up everything to the latest builds... and now this mode is showing:
