To those who're getting this error while upgrading:

I have FINALLY been able to upgrade my copy of 1.2.5-DEV with 1.2.9 after spending most of last night doing so...

The problem now is: I have deleted the old files/directories/templates and have done a new install of templatewizard am trying to install the layout_07 template - everything goes fine ...

first of all a BIG BIG thanks to Eric who has developed the template wizard and switcher - this will take phpwcms much further than any other recent mods - IMHO it is a good product but lacked this feature big time and would have missed a lot of it's audience due to this feature not being available ...

install instructions:
extract the templateswitcher.php file to the root directory of your phpwcms installation

usage instructions:
simply create an contentpart text and place the following php code inside:

$tw_form_css = '';
$tw_select_css = 'style="font-size:10px;"';

I have been running the latest release of phpwcms for sometime now and recently made a number of changes to my site but cannot change details about the home level ie: change of template or anything else...

I have tried searching but found no results.
Does someone know what the problem might be ...

I have been using this amazing cms for sometime now and have version 1.1 active on my site, I have now, using cpanel fantastico scripts installed a newer version 1.4 on my site in a different directory and a new DB.

final analysis:

as i said earlier i have a hosting area of 10mb, my account was a few bytes above quota.

what was happening was that new files could be palced, but whenever an old file was opened for writing it would go back with 0 bytes as there was no space on ...

If the database tables got created correctly, then the user/pass/dbname portions sounds correct. Ensure you have file permissions correct, perhaps???
check access rights for special files and folders.
