Re: FE Login Problems

Sorry, I'm a little out of date.. I have an older site that my client is now asking for this type of functionality.
The site is version 1.2.1, so I know I need to update...
But can any of you tell me if this functionality is built into the current v1.4.2?

thanks for the help

Re: html comment?

Well the first sql injection was via the email form included with phpwcms. I realize that it may have been a 3rd party component but never the less it was included, same with spaw etc..
The fact that anyone on this board or that have downloaded the source for phpwcms can determine its weak points ...

html comment?

OK, real quick/s question here..

The HTML comments that render into the front end. Can these be removed?
My concern is letting bots or other malicious clients know what system a site is running. I have had phpwcms sites hacked in the past, and a great way to avoid this would be to remove any ...

how happy I would be to know that a team is has been put together to continue the project.
As it stands I am testing new systems... I feel very little confidence that phpwcms will move forward quickly enough for my plans.

sure, I have been able to create some killer sites..
I am very happy with the product.. I guess I am just frustrated that I am being forced to dilute my knowledge with the inner workings of other systems.. I would much prefer to simple focuse on WCMS and blast away at creating stellar sites.

I ...

I love the system, but hell... I just don't know if I can wait anymore... I have lost/destroyed/given up on project because I was 'hopeful' that WCMS would have a new release soon.

Its killing me to say, but I have started learning other systems... I can't risk so much on this cms anymore. :(

I am curious where things are as far as SEO... the point about aliases being only for catagories rather than articles is very valid...
I want to port one of my existing sites to phpWcms but I am holding off due to fears that I will loose my very good search engine placements.

any thing new along ...

interesting article about CMC's and the design of

Take a read

I particullary like the notion of outputting features in the desired order, and using css as the format engine.

seems that right now we have wcms giving about 1/2 control (be it much better than I have seen in other systems.)

the 'Listing' button is an issue in this section since there is only one article.
I need to add a little to the logic that is placing the button..
currently I am testing for some global ID's to allow me to change the 'listing' graphic and link, but I don't know how to test the number of articles ...
