Hi all, This is a hack to the core and so sould be use with causion. What does it do? I think the itme-out in not an issue - I am sure the newsletter sends out only a few emails then refreshes the connection so as to by pass this restriction.

I am not sur eof this error but I would not use gif's at all, pngs are better (and developed by the same guys ;) ) .gif's are not fully supporrted and no thumbenails or resized version of the gif will be created owing to strict copyright issues (now defunkt afaik). in short, use png for 'toon styles...

there is no way of 'updating' a file in filemanager, only to upload a new file. You must then delete all instances of the old file and replace them with the new version. - a pain I know but it is the only way at present.

is this error relating to you providing an incorrect admin user/password for your database ? IIRC this step is trying to login to the server an failing due to an incorrect database user/pass please comfirm you are not inputting a new different user/password thinking this is for the backend admin area.

yes and no... no... you can't use html directly within the title of categories, articles or contentparts (without hacking the code.) yes... you can write custom replacement tags that convert your own {RT}'s to do what ever you like.... within /phpwcms_template/inc_script/frontend_render you can writ...

if http://www.yourdomain.com/login.php is blank than I guess this file is corrupt too. I would up load all files again given that at least one file has proven to be corrupt, then re install the site through the correct means.
