After lots of messing around with paths, I did get it working in the end.

Seems that paths have changed slightly since the version I originally had.

Still, it works fine now.

Does the site setting make much difference to the running of phpwcms?

That's the only thing I can see that could be wrong.

I wondered about that. I'll have a look tonight - what I can't understand is why it works fine for one domain name, and doesn't work for another.

Next thing - wonder where that path is coming from!

I wasn't sure how to describe this problem, but can anyone suggest if I have a problem with my phpwcms setup which would make this happen.

If you access this site;

This works fine

If you use a different domain name which according to my isp is setup ...

Something that I was just thinking about that would help me with site design is some sample templates and images...kind of 'out of the box' layouts etc.

I've just seen the phpwcms documentation site, and think it looks excellent, but don't actually know how to put something like that togther using ...

Yes I did, and the arrow's pointing downwards.....I've clicked everywhere, just in case.

You must have thumbnails in order for them to show up in the image browser....I didn't know that, now I do!

I've clicked everywhere in the popup, and nothing comes up. I have another installation which is working fine.

Strange

Am I going mad?

I have uploaded a jpg image to the file center - all looks fine, marked active and public and is in the root folder.

If I try to add a content part images or text/w image, the image browser is displayed, but no images are displayed.

I've searched the forums, but can't find ...

This is worth considering if you have too much trouble;

it wouldn't matter if I didn't, I'd still be able to do it. Also, I dont have to think about links because the nav is automatically created and I can choose various levels - current, child, so on - with a mouse click.


I'm not an HTML expert either, but I don't have to worry about it with ...

My first problem was the dream I had when running the database change script, but this seems to have cured by odd looking article list too.

I was about to say that I ran the comments in the rc4 update .sql file - but I quite obviously did not!

Things seem to be working now anyway...

That didn't work either - there's some odd characters in that function which don't seem to be recognised with a UK character set..?

Anyway, the sql statement that is being run, and appears in as an error, I took and ran directly against the database using phpmyadmin....

Hmm, that didn't cure my problem. As far as I can tell I don't have any special characters in the category title...just letters.

My version of general_inc.php currently looks like ;
