There is indeed a wealth of fantastic threads on this forum which could be edited and turned into great articles for the docu site.

So let's do it. I agree the docu site is good but it needs time contributed to it to make it complete ...

Just thinking about how its good for phpwcms to receive money...

Does the GPL allow phpwcms to charge a fee for removing the copyright notice from the front end?

So for example, for 50 euros you get given a key that will remove the copyright notice from the front end...

I have to admit when it comes to hosting I am a total novice but you're right, it is worthwhile, so I tried again this morning and strangely Marcus' script worked for me (almost)

No . I don't think it's worthwhile, pursuing this one - not my usual web hosting company and not essential to have rewrite.

Not sure what that admin_pass field actually does.

No php.ini and your .htaccess file but still get the message:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webadmin@kundenserver.de and inform them of the time ...

Well today is just not my day...

Somehow uploaded conf.inc.php file from another site and overwrote only copy.

admin_pass.... what do I put here?!

I'm using a clients 1&1 profesisonal hosting package for v1.3.5

When I upload .htaccess file I get Server 500 Error loading any page.

It seems that 1&1 has real issues with .htaccess and url rewriting.

Has anyone had any experience in how to get around this?
