I had the same problem,

check your log files, otherwise check the rights on the catalog you just created, it created one with the right 644 with me instead of 777.

don't you see the username and password box after you clicked the login link?

there you fill in the username and password you used in the setup. (default: webmaster/admin)

try to open the same page in Netscape. do you get the same problem then? I guess there is something wrong in the embed statement with the /<, but maybe oliver can give you the right anwser, just pasted my version here, just check that its the same.

Hi pSouper,

I had the same problem, and fixed it by CHMOD the directories to 777 instead of the suggested 755.

just use the same solution as for example phpnuke uses. really great with just 1 (and maybe 1 for the admin part) translation file.
