What do you mean with encrypted?

I was hoping that I'd be able to view the html code stored in the database, but when I open the backed up SQL database, the article content tables look like this (edited as to not take up pages of characters):

INSERT INTO `phpwcms_articlecontent` VALUES (1, 2, 4 ...

Thanks. I checked different content parts and all have the same issue. I downloaded the DB but the content is encripted. If someone wants to look at it, I'll be happy to post it, but I don't know how to review the DB for defects. I did run a clean up command through phpmysql but that didn't help.

So, all other scripts (phpbb, listmessenger) are still working on my server, but phpwcms is dead. I need to recover the data from the site.

I have the database dump, but the data all seems to be encripted. How to I extract the content from the database? Do I need to do a fresh reinstall? Thoughts?

I have the database backed up (I was using PHPWcms rc4). If I do a complete reinstall, can i reinstall the existing database? And what about the templates that I'm using. I'm so frustrated.

I am at a compte loss. The web host says that there have been no changes to the server at all.

I've been using PHPWcms with no problem for a site, http://www.animalsense.com/index.php. Today out of nowhere it is now coming up with errors.

Thanks. It turned out that my web server has been having trouble with the mail server. They switched my server and it's all working fine now. Thanks.

Possible... But they haven't let me know of any changes. I'm not even sure to know where to look.

I have learned that they've recently set a mail limit of 10 email per minute (or something like that), but I can't figure out how this would affect this mail form and more importantly, how to get the ...

I've had my PHPWcms site up and running for almost a year now, and about a week ago my contact form stopped sending email. To the user, it seems to work just fine, but the emails no longer get sent.

I use IPowerWeb to host my PHPWcms site and I'm having problems. It seems that I'm having frequent problems with the database and the site being down. The non-database pages that are not PHPWcms related work fine. Are their settings that I should change? Or have other people also had problems with ...

I'm putting lables on photos in a photo album. I have many photos and PHPWCMS is only allowing me to put captions on the first 8 photos. After that the text box entry just won't allow anymore characters. Is there a place where I can extend the limit on this?

Actually I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted to. The scroll bars didn't show up in my div tag. I'll be curious when you get your working.
